A new month

Well, two of my July babies came in late June and one of my late July babies came in August. I guess it all evens out in the end. And here I was, worried that they would all clump together in the first part of the month and overlap!

So this last baby was born to a young lady whose mother and I have been acquainted for about 20 years. Many years ago I used to get my internet through Compuserve. They had forums on different topics you could join to meet people interested in the same things. They had a Christian homeschooling forum, so I joined. I met quite a few other moms on that forum and some time later, even after Compuserve was no longer available, we ended up with a core group of women who stayed in touch and formed a Yahoo email group. We called ourselves the "Loopie Ladies". We would talk to each other online using a chat program called Mirc, long after we had put the kiddies to bed. It was our way to fellowship and let off steam. I have had the privilege of meeting several of the moms in person. Most of our children are all grown up and several are married and have children of their own, making quite a few of us Loopie Ladies grandmothers now. The baby I caught this week is the granddaughter of one of my Loopie Ladies friends. I got to meet her in person at the home prenatal visit for her daughter's upcoming birth, and she was present when this little one made her appearance.

Small world, right?

Didn't she end up with an adorable granddaughter?

So, most of my month of August is going to be spent studying for the NARM which I am taking on the 17th of this month in Nashville, TN. I think as soon as we get back we will be moving into a new house.

But I don't even want to think about that right now...
