Moving!

So, this coming weekend we will start moving stuff over to the "new" house. I haven't packed a thing yet. Between house hunting, vehicle shopping, catching babies and seeing moms for prenatals and consults and studying for my exam on Wednesday, I haven't had time for packing.

Driving up on Tuesday to Nashville. Meeting a fellow midwife for dinner that evening then an early evening to bed, early up on Wednesday morning. Have to be at the testing facility at 7:45 AM. After the test will spend the night with a mom expecting twins that I have known since she was a little girl. Thursday morning I will drive home early and hit the floor running packing and organizing for the move.

It will be good to have this behind us and settle down in one spot for a while. The good news about the house is it is easy to find, just 5 minutes from the interstate and even though the individual rooms are small, there are a lot of them. Tom is planning his "man cave" and I will have a room just for crafts and sewing. It has a huge long room in the basement that is carpeted that I can use for my office and there is a bathroom right there for the moms to use. It is perfect in that respect.

I'll just be glad when every box is unpacked and every picture is hung and I can put my feet up and enjoy being HOME again!
