Janelle and I went fabric shopping the day she left to head home. I found some adorable batik fabric and decided to try and make Lucy another summer sundress. The vibrant blue will make her pretty blue eyes very noticeable. I've finished it except for running the elastic through the waistline and legs in the bloomers. She is coming over for a visit this afternoon so I should be able to do that when she arrives. I'm going to take her picture in the dress when I get it finished and will upload it later.
Sent Janelle home because she had been here for several weeks and we just had the one baby left. I mostly needed her because I had so many due so close together that I was worried about someone going into labor at the same time. She experimented when she was here with gluten free biscotti and spoiled me.
We are house hunting and truck hunting. Tom had been driving our son's truck while he was walking across the country on his fund-raising trek. He returned it to him two weeks ago and we've been sharing a vehicle ever since. Not good when you are a midwife. So we are on hunt for the perfect used truck. We need to find a rental house in the right location in the next month or two, so we are also trying to drive around neighborhoods, check out online sites, etc. Interesting but slightly frustrating too.
