Back in south Georgia again, waiting on the birth of a little one. This is a friend and former client who was due after I would be relocated, so she was seeing her old obstetrician. He is a good one who saw her through 9 successful VBACs. I was with her for #10 VBAC (baby #11) and this will be baby #12. Her OB was not available for her last birth and he was more than willing to buck the system which would have banned her from attempting her 10th VBAC (insane!) but he said if he was not on call, he was pretty sure other OBs would only do another cesarean and not give her a chance. So, since I had no other clients due this month, I agreed to come back down for her birth.
Today, I have planned a reunion picnic for former clients and their families. I have no idea how many will try to come. But I'm bringing my camera to take lots of pictures.
Hoping to get to see other friends and family while I'm here. Also hoping baby will cooperate and not take too long to get here. I have prenatal visits scheduled for the middle of next week back in Atlanta.
You hear that little one?
