What, do you ask, is E-Mealz?
It's a website highly recommended by Dave Ramsey set up to help you save time and money at the grocery store. Not a bad goal. For those of you who like to coupon, there are added benefits too. For those who are tired of going to the pantry with a glazed over stare, trying to figure out which items will jump out at you and beg to be cooked each evening, this will be a blessing, trust me.
You can choose a menu plan for the size of your family, the grocery store where you most frequently shop and even choose a specialty plan, such as gluten-free, low fat/low carb, or Weight Watchers points type plan. The menus are made up for you each week, with an accompanying grocery list, all the recipes, and sometimes clickable coupons.....all from the SPECIALS at that particular store that week. Both girls (and others I know) have said their families have loved the menus and recipes and they have loved not having the do the work each week to plan and execute the grocery shopping.
So I signed up for the gluten free plan, but it uses a lot of cheese and dairy products which I am also very sensitive to, so I'm going to try and see if I can find dairy free alternatives to use with the recipes and see how it goes.
If you'd like to try it, click on this banner and check out the sample menus. It's only $5 a month and I'm betting you will save more than that is using the specials, coupons, eating out and TIME!

Whole Foods is pretty good about having dairy alternatives, but have you been to Sevananda in Little Five points? I know it's not on your regular route, but worth a side trip if you're around that area. It's a locally owned co-op - they sell a ton of things in bulk, natural beauty products, lots of gluten free, organic and a bunch of vegan/vegetarian options, in addition to having a ton of non-dairy dairy substitutes. Dekalb Farmer's Market also has some.
Francina, I have no idea where they are except the Farmer's Market but I'd love to try them out! You're a great resource! I want to go food shopping with you one day....
