I love digital

Some of the boxes which have sat for 6 months under my garage, waiting on me to move here and deal with were boxes and boxes of photo albums and old pictures. I finally starting tackling those boxes yesterday.

Since the digital age has come along, when you have a blurred picture or one that just isn't a good shot, you just delete. But back in the dark ages, when we had to take our film to the photo lab and wait to see just what had been captured on that roll, you sometimes ended up with just a handful of shots that were worthy of hanging onto. The rest were blurry or you ended up wondering exactly why you thought that moment was worthy of capturing.

So, I've been tossing. Blurred images, moments that weren't really worthy of finding their way into the dozens of photo scrapbooks that are apparently in my future. I have stacks in the making of family shots, group shots, my children and other memories I want to keep on my desk. They will be saved for a rainy scrapbooking day, hopefully better organized than they were before.

And this afternoon, I'm going to see a possible new chiropractor. After spending days unpacking and lifting boxes, I need her! She is a specialist also in treating pregnant women and babies, so I will probably refer clients to her and I wanted to get the chance to meet her too. Hopefully she won't be too expensive.

If anyone has been really successful at setting up an HP scanner with a Mac computer, would you tell me your secret? So far, I have been unsuccessful.
